How to sell a comic book collection, doesn't have to be a mystery. If you have a bunch of comics sitting in your closet, gathering dust, and you can't bring yourself to get rid of them, you may think it's not even worth trying to sell. You could be very wrong.

You may have taken the time to sign up on eBay and try to sell your comic book collection, only to find that there's many others just like yours, maybe even better than yours, selling for much less than you were hoping to get.

First, you want to make sure that you don't have your items appraised at only one place. Don't take your entire collection to a comic book store and expect to get a great price. These stores have overhead and a staff they must pay for, and they face a competitive market place. Since they will be reselling what they buy from you, they're going to want much less, than what they think they can resell yours for.

eBay is very competitive, so you should be selective with them as well. Don't just submit your ad, amongst many similar ones that others have submitted, and expect better results. You will not get them. You have to make sure that your comic books stand out amongst the crowd.

Don't sell your collection all at once. You will get more money if you sell each comic individually. Also, no matter what the condition, wrap each one individually.

Knowing how to sell your comic book collection can be a matter of simply knowing a few tricks that will increase their value tremendously. Don't settle for pennies on the dollar, when you can have wads of cash for what you thought was so hard to sell.
